THE LIMITED WARRANTY CAN ALSO BE FOUND ONLINE AT WWW.MYDUTCHDOOR.COM OR IN THE DOCUMENTATION WE PROVIDE WITH THE PRODUCT.
WE WARRANT THAT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP THAT MIGHT UNREASONABLY AFFECT ITS PERFORMANCE.
WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
Who may use this warranty?
Milcreek Enterprises, Inc., DBA My Dutch Door located at address www.mydutchdoor.com (“we“) extend this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product (“you“). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.
What does this warranty cover?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the door(s) (the “product“) for the Warranty Period as defined below.
What does this warranty not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation including freight carriers, common carriers, private transportation, or any other means of transportation or handling that occur after the product leaves the My Dutch Door facility; (b) corrosive substances including fumes, stains, and contact with chemically abrasive substances; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) unauthorized modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; (h) acts of God including high winds, floods or fire; (i) damage during installation; (j) components not supplied by My Dutch Door or its agent; (k) paints or dark stains; (l) storm or security doors; (m) localized application of heat; (n) movement of building or building components, and/or expansion or contraction of building or building components; or (o) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
What is the period of coverage?
This limited warranty starts on the original date of your purchase and lasts for the time period below (the “Warranty Period“). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product. If My Dutch Door elects to provide a replacement, the Limited Warranty for the replacement will continue for the balance of the original warranty period for the original Product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

What are your remedies under this warranty?
With respect to any defective product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, either: (a) repair the product; (b) replace the product with a product of the same type, size and quantity; or (c) credit or refund the purchase price of such product.
How do you obtain warranty service?
To obtain warranty service, you must call (877) 211-6714 or email our Customer Service Department at sales[at]mydutchdoor.com during the Warranty Period to obtain a Defective Merchandise Authorization (“DMA“) number. No warranty service will be provided without a DMA number. Your claim must contain all of the following:
- Name and address of the owner of the residential property;
- Name of the installer;
- Proof of purchase and the original date of purchase;
- Product catalog number and description; and
- Detailed explanation and pictures of the alleged defect.
No claim under this Limited Warranty is valid unless: (1) it is received in writing by My Dutch Door within ten (10) days of the date the alleged defect was discovered; (2) My Dutch Door is given an opportunity to sufficiently inspect the allegedly defective Product; and (3) at My Dutch Door’s request, you provide representative samples of the allegedly defective Product to My Dutch Door in accordance with My Dutch Door’s instructions.
Limitation of liability
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
